Mr. Holland's Opus Is A Must See Movie At My House
I like many Richard Dreyfuss movies. He usually plays a quirky kind of guy. My two must-see movies (translation watch it every time it comes on) are Mr. Holland's Opus and Let It Ride. Not having been a teacher this movie shows his anguish in trying to teach music to High School kids who appear "not interested." He learns how to relate to kids, gives up his "selfish" pursuits and reaps the rewards of a grateful community. There are several more airings this month on the Discovery Family Channel. Frank say's "Check it out."
