The Way I Poach An Egg Now
I love poached eggs but it's hit and miss for me. Undercooked, overcooked, or just plane messy. So when I saw this method I had to try it. In a 1 cup microwavable cup I added a 1/2 cup of water, one egg and covered. Set the microwave for 1 minute. My egg came out a 8 out of 10. That is good enough for me. Also, I don't scramble eggs on the stove anymore. They turn out way better in the microwave. I give this method a 10 out of 10.
Note to Janice R. in Byron I'm responding to your suggestion to add more photos and color to the SPOTLIGHT (like I used to). Again I'm going down this path (mostly text and links) because nearly 50% of all viewers and subscribers are on mobile phones. I have to address this (small screens, loading times, etc.,) if I want to grow. I personally don't do much on a smart phone, it's just too small, but my boys do. For heavy lifting on the internet I prefer to use my little 11 1/2" chromebook. It takes some time to get use to (the new operating system) but I'm getting better at it and I love the 8 hours of battery life, no software updates (it's done on the cloud). My 15" windows 7 laptop looks like a dinosaur next to the chromebook.
