Brentwood Harvest Fest
Launched last weekend. Downtown where it belongs. The focus is on Brentwood corn. Thanks to organizers Peggy Schuitemaker and Tricia Piquero for pulling this together. The weather was nice, the food plentiful, shade abundant and fun everywhere. I especially liked having a reason to finally visit city hall (too see the exhibits). I was lucky when I was there they had a Van Halen tribute band, HOT FOR TEACHER, and they rocked.
