I took this picture last Saturday at the OAKLEY VETERANS CAR SHOW at Provodence Bar & Eatery, in Oakley. When I saw this truck I spazzed out. I AM NOT a car man. A real car man likes to work on cars. I am a driver. And I would look damn good cruising down "G" St in this bad boy (especially with Peggy by my side). I can hear the Rolling Stones blasting "Satisfaction" now on my Muntz blue light 4 track stereo tape player. Am I showing my age?

Everyone around here has heard of the Black Diamond Mines in south Pittsburg. But back in 1875 (when this photo was taken) it was known as Nortonville. They mined coal and shipped it by train to Antioch where it was loaded on to ships.
