Hanks Forum Club was a local bar on 4th St., in downtown Antioch. They sold a legendary linguica sandwich I'm happy to say I enjoyed. When I saw this photo I thought of the 1992 Tom Hanks movie "A League Of Their Own". As the 1945 champs the timing is almost identical.

Steak Dinner at Sweeney's
A friend and I stopped by Sweeney's Grill in Brentwood. This is NOT the exact steak same steak we had last Saturday (no camera) but it's a Sweeney's steak (from a past visit). What we ordered this time was the house special Top Sirloin with a sauteed mushroom gravy @ $20.95. It was one of the best steaks I ever had. I can't wait to go back. BTW we ordered the clam appetizer and it was excellent too.
