I found this photo while perusing an edition of the ANTIOCH LEDGER from May 1977. This sturgeon is 8' 2" and 250 lbs! Caught in Suisun Bay by Bethel Island fisherman Bill Webster. Yes there are still big fish to be had. I saw one fellow recently loading 3 big fish into his pickem 'up at the Antioch Marina.
