Naked Ladies Painted On Walls
I visited the newly remodeled Pittsburg California Theatre recently. I have to admit to being surprised at seeing naked women painted on a theatre wall, again (I saw this the first time at the Stamm Theatre, they had Amazon woman, painted on their walls). Apparently art deco tastes at the time paid homage to the fair sex by painting them naked on walls. Pittsburg was first to do it in 1920 and then the Stamm Theatre came along in 1929. Can you imagine the original theatre owner's question "you want to paint what on my theatre walls?" The architect's response "it's not naked woman it's art and people will talk to their friends about it and people will come for miles, to your theatre, to see it."

Cigar Aficionado's #3 Cigar For 2015
Wow what a week. Smoked two of the top three cigars listed as the 25 BEST CIGARS for 2015 (number two is a Cuban and a little harder to find) by CIGAR AFICIONADO. This one is the CAO FLATHEAD V660 CARB. I found it at St Claire Cigars in Pittsburg. This is a very nice place to "sit awhile" and have a smoke. It's been my experience that cigar people are generally more relaxed people and enjoy discussions on most any subject. The cigar was ok.
