Contra Loma Regional Park, Antioch
It's hard for me to believe this park hasn't been there since the dawn of time. It opened in 1964 and has been a treasure to the people who live and use this park. I don't know exactly how far it is to walk around the lake but my guess is it's about 3 miles. It's a great little walk. I keep thinking about taking a back pack, lunch and my laptop and sit at one of those lovely picnic tables and start a novel or something. I headed to Contra Loma early on a warm and sunny day. I wanted to be there before the gators woke up.

Abalone Dinner A 100 Year Old Celebration
