Too young to remember what Antioch business had murals of art painted on the walls like this? Too old to remember? Perhaps if you see it in HD version . No? This is one of the murals from the Stamm Theater, 10th & G St., Antioch. Pat yourself on the back if you remember this. Thanks Frank Goodyear my fellow conspirator, on Facebook group "You Know You're From Antioch When" for coming up with these photos.

A friend showed me a few photos of this park and I had to see it. The park is located off Big Break Road, north of Raley's Shopping Center, in Oakley. The ground is flat and the trails and sidewalks are an easy walk. It's a nice place for seniors and young families to visit. It's part of the East Bay Park District. It offers free parking, bathrooms, sand box and plenty of tables to eat a lunch or picnic. There is a science center is open Wednesday through Sunday 10-4 PM. Also after a short walk you will find a pretty good sized observation deck. It's a nice little walk and no fees.

Paulette Robbins, Antioch High School graduate, now living in Spokane Washington just lost her uncle Kenny Belville (back row on the right). He and his brother Bob Belville, front row center, posed with Kenny's race car at the Antioch Speedway in 1962. RIP Kenny and sorry for your loss Paulette. Thanks for the picture. I think it's pretty cool.
