The weather has been this great this week. I felt compelled to visit the patio at Champions Bar & Grille @ Lone Tree Golf & Event Center in Antioch this week. When I'm out there I usually have a Strawberry Daiquiri or a Pina Colada. April and Vince both make good ones. Tell them Frankie Mac recommends them, maybe they will give you an extra cherry.

I was disappointed the 49ER season came to an end (no Super Bowl win this year) last Sunday. I was glad I watched the game at my son Bryan's house. His brother and his family, their mother and her mom were all over there too. It was impossible to get to "into the game" with rug rats jumping on grandpa's lap laughing. They could have cared less about the game. At the end of the day family is way more important than a football game.
I believe the future looks bright for the 49ers besides they now have played in one more NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game than the Cowboys 15-14 hoorah! Thank goodness I didn't grow up a Detroit Lions fan. Those poor fans have been to one NFC Championship game and lost (no Super Bowls) in 50 years, now that IS sad.

I'm resisting the cliched "I missed the bus" fact of the matter is it just didn't work out this week.
It's been a 1 1/2 years since I rode TRI DELTA TRANSIT and I'm ready to do it again. Last time I visited CELIA'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT, LA PINATA and SCHOONERS GRILLE & BREWERY. I'm happy to do the same trip again but I'd like to consider some other stops. Downtown Pittsburg, Lone Tree Way, Streets of Brentwood, Downtown Brentwood come to mind. My transportation is going to cost me $3.35. Not worrying about a cop in my rearview mirror PRICELESS. Where would you go?
