I'm Thankful For Fall Colors

Yes I like the fall football season. But, if your team is struggling this year, take a walk, enjoy the fall colors. Trees always have a winning season. I will be going out to Contra Loma (where I took this photo) to walk off excess eating, lick my football wounds and enjoy the fall season.

Antioch Routes Amador Valley In Playoff Game 58-21

Next Round Game: Foothill High School Friday 11/27 @ 7PM

With a 36-0 lead at halftime, the Don's offense limited to 40 yards, drama was over. Antioch's star running back, Najee Harris and most of the starters, sat out the 2nd half. Four playoffs teams remain now and Antioch is one of them. The AHS Panthers play the Foothill Falcons, at home, Friday with revenge on their minds, for losing to this team last year. It's a new season and the game is at Antioch High School this year. Go Panthers. I'll be there!

Holiday Anticipation

Yes, Peggy, Brigitte (our new dog) and I went to the Brentwood Holiday Parade last Saturday. We watched it from Chestnut & 2nd St. The parade turned right at this corner and headed North. The crowd was 5-6 people deep and ready for a parade when this photo was taken. They do this parade early, before Thanksgiving, and they do it well, I guess people in Brentwood can't wait for Christmas. See in HD

Note: Holiday Next Week the SPOTLIGHT will be delivered Thursday 12/03/2015
