The weather has been divine. Let's take a look at the FULL MENU at Champions Bar & Grill @ Lone Tree Golf & Event Center in Antioch. The answer to the question "Would you like a view with that wine you are enjoying?" yes!
I did suck down a PARADISE COCKTAIL in true guinea pig fashion, off the AUGUST DRINK MENU, to answer the burning question "will my lips turn blue (and make me look like a smurf) if I drink one of these cocktails?" I'm pleased to say the answer is no. The drink was too sweet for me with the Malibu Rum but with the red, white and blue layers it will be a mainstay on all national holidays from now on. BTW I had the pasta with a red marinara sauce the dish was packed with fresh clams (and I didn't leave a drop). The garlic bread was weak, but fresh, and kept the focus on the clams. I will look for this dish again but order a dry red wine to wash it down with.
