Reasons We Live In East County

I found this video on facebook, loved it and linked it here. All of my settings tell me EVERYONE can view this. The video says it's from California Delta Maps. I went looking for it and was not able to find it (so I could link it directly). Please drop me a note at the link below if you are not able to see this video and tell me the device you are using. It really is beautifully done and reminds me to get out more and visit this beautiful area we call home. We really are lucky indeed.

1984 Fashion Video Antioch High School

Scott Hayden an Antioch High School student in 1984-1985 made this video in the high school's video production class. It's actually quite well produced. I would have given him an "A" if he was my student.

 LEDGER NEWSPAPER PHOTOS FROM 1964

When I visit the museum, I look for photos of people and events that many people will remember. I like quality photos. I almost walked away from this time period because the quality of the reproduction wasn't good. I capitulated and took the photos anyway thinking "these photos aren't getting any better". There was a lot happening in Antioch during the 60's. The photos below work like a timeline on how the city grew.
