"Historic Photo" of the Week

I saw this big ship on the river last Sunday during the KITE SAIL event. I never tire of seeing these ships. I always wonder where they are going? Where are they from? When will they be home? These are not cruise ships. I doubt they have a casino and bar. I would not like a "life at sea" but I do think about it, for a few moments, when I see one, then reality sets in and the moment is over. I do understand this is a great way to see the Mediterranean though. Those ships will have a bar, casino and a decent steak.

A Kite Sailing Tournament was held last Sunday at Riverview Park in Pittsburg. Adventurous folks, from all over the Bay Area, came to Pittsburg to Kite Sail. I had never been to this park before. They have some good parking, nice children's play area and a nice long water walk. Nice place to stop for a picnic. Check it out.
