Straw Hat Pizza

A forty year tradition in Antioch. Quite possibly East County's best salad bar, beautiful dining room and spacious banquet room make this restaurant a large family, sports team, and club gathering place. Serving beer & wine. Open 7 days for lunch & dinner.

I love the lunch special, salad bar, pizza, soda about $8. Brentwood has a WIFI nice.

I'm very fortunate to stay as busy as I am. With one new fully responsive website almost ready for launch, another one I hope to get design approval on today and another one waiting in the on deck circle I'm very happy and a grateful man. Clue to the one on deck. Can you guess who?

"Antioch Summer Fire" by Jeffrey W. Strawther

I was looking for the name of the photographer of the boat photo below. This photo caught my eye. It's a photo from the fire yesterday from the same photographer. I liked it and I'm sharing it with you too.

"Antioch A Friendly Port" by Jeffrey W. Strawther

I don't know what if any title Jeffrey gave to this photo. But I like it, titled it and now I am sharing it with you. The contrasting style looks familiar, I'm curious, was this photo taken with an iphone? The filter or custom settings make for a dramatic effect. Lovely.

"A Pittsburg Fisherman" by Jeffrey W. Strawther

Some people are purists. They want their images natural. I like my images enhanced. I've seen this statue many times and photographed it too. But I like this version best. Nice job Jeffrey.

"Italian Waterfront Property"

Jeffrey Strawther liked this image an wondered where it was taken. I found the picture here. According to this website it is on the Italian coast. That's good enough for me.

SKETCH CLASS June 29th with Big Al in Brentwood. Hangout with local artists. There are some serious artists here. You bring you own materials and Big Al supply's the model. They do it just like they do in a real art school. The model strikes a different pose and everybody starts drawing. The poses as I recall go from about 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Nice setting.
