Al Eames Ford (when it was located in downtown Antioch) was at 3rd & H St. The cars in front would now be in the Antioch City Hall south parking lot. I believe Ralph Soliz first published this photo in his facebook group Vintage Antioch. Thanks Ralph for all you do.

This week's host New Mecca Cafe Tickets $10
The Culinary Crawl is a walking restaurant tour that showcases Old Town Pittsburg restaurants on Thursday nights. Restaurants will feature a mini appetizer and specials. A different restaurant will be named the “Host Restaurant” and will feature entertainment. Purchase tickets at the Railroad Book Depot (650 Railroad Avenue, Pittsburg CA).

Backdoor Open To Dow Wetlands
I've done the "DOW WALK" at the Antioch Marina many times. I refer to it as a hidden park jewel it's beautiful. Now about half way down the curvey sidewalk where the path begins to head North you will see this sign and a new path. The path takes you along the waterfront to the official Dow Wetlands. The sign says it's just 1/2 mile. I will take my camera and see what there is to see soon. If you would like to join me and bring a camera and turn this into a photo safari drop me a note and tell me a date and a time that works for you.
