Deer Valley High School Volleyball Is Championship Caliber
Deer Valley High's Wolverines mauled Roseville's Tigers in round one of the boys volleyball CIF NorCal Divison l Championships last night at Deer Valley High School.
The 23rd nationally ranked DVHS Boys Volleyball team eliminated Roseville 25-9, 25-23, 25-20 to advance into round two of the 2015 NorCal Boys Volleyball Division l Championships.
The hungry Wolverines will travel to Cupertino to match up with 25th nationally ranked and 2 seeded Monte Vista Matadors (32-6) Thursday May 28-7 pm.

Memorial Day $5 BBQ @ Harvest Park Bowl, Brentwood
Right after I ordering the $5 TRI-TIP DINNER for myself (at the Memorial Day BBQ) my neighbor at the bar "a dice rolling queen named Alice" got her $5 chicken dinner. I knew I wanted one of those too. Jim Wangeman, the owner at HP, tells me they do this about once a month. So, keep your nose in the SPOTLIGHT every week and I'll keep you posted on the next one. (BTW Happy Birthday to Jim, 77, he's been a good friend to a lot of people for a very long time. Many more to you).

It looks like there's about $1,200.00 (wholesale) left in the bottle. This cognac is about $2,500.00 a bottle in the US. The traditional restaurant markup is 400%. With 25.5 shots (1 1/2 oz) in a liter bottle. That means shots must be about $450 a piece. If I win the lotto we'll go finish the bottle.
